The Property Coordinator of 8500 Burton Way will be an integral part of the operation of the building and direct support to the management team.  The position is responsible for assisting with the daily operations of the property to support a superior resident experience.

The nature of the role requires availability to work weekends and holidays as needed. Position reports directly to Assistant Property Manager.  

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

    • Providing general administrative support
    • Creation and submission of monthly rent invoices
    • Follow up on rent collection and processing
    • Creation and coordination of lease renewal letters
    • Ensuring property is meeting quality standards
    • Managing and maintaining vendor relationships
    • Coding and processing invoices in AvidExchange
    • Managing general property email
    • Responding to guest inquires and feedback within 48 hours
    • Managing and maintaining the work-order system
    • Maintain and update insurance database for residents and vendors
    • Assistance with connection, disconnection, and billing of utility services
    • Maintain and update emergency notification database
    • Picking up all phone calls to the Management Office main line
    • Picking up and responding to Resident requests, logging service/maintenance requests, and greeting prospective residents and/or scheduling leasing tours
    • Tracking and assisting with any lease compliance related issues
    • Ordering and managing inventory for special events

    • Excellent judgement and decision making skills
    • Exceptional communication skills (written + verbal)
    • Excellent computer skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
    • Proven problem solving and interpersonal skills
    • Possess the ability and skill to motivate others
    • Experience in a hospitality field such as hotels, retail, or restaurant is highly preferred
    • Able to cope with shifting priorities difficult situations and deadlines
    • Able to remain calm when assisting residents and guests who may be under pressure or temperamental

Education:

    • College Degree preferred
    • High School Diploma required
