The Marketing Manager will manage marketing efforts for the retail property and residential units at The Americana at Brand. In addition, the Marketing Manager is tasked with creating and developing the Corporate Outreach program to target local corporations in the area in an effort to promote the property and is responsible for maintaining the marketing budgets.  Will work with the marketing team and brand partnerships team to create, produce and execute property-wide events and programming.

Essential functions and responsibilities:

    • Strategy/Planning/Operations
    • Create and implement strategic marketing campaigns that drive target audience to The Americana at Brand and increase traffic, drive sales and meet KPIs
    • Work on marketing and partnership events from concept to completion in conjunction with cross-marketing teams
    • Set property marketing goals and measure effectiveness of various marketing sources; recap marketing programming to track back to KPIs for ROI
    • Overall management and communication with on property tenants and ongoing outreach to managers
    • Coordinate creative requests with in-house designers to ensure timely and effective promotion of marketing events and tenant offers
    • Create and maintain signage on property: 22x28s and OOH if applicable
    • Maintain catalog of advertisements
    • Maintain and balance marketing budgets in conjunction with department
    • Responsible for coding invoices and submitting to accounting; tracking detailed money spent
    • Ownership of activities on property and have full understanding of property rules and regulations
    • Liaison with property operations, concierge, engineering, security, housekeeping, marketing, partnerships, leasing, development, loyalty as needed for each program
    • Supervise Concierge and porters that assist with event setup/breakdown and event staffing
    • Act as MOD (Manager of Duty) for entire property when assigned which includes residential and all staff working at that time

    • Experiential/Marketing
    • Lead production and activation for signature Caruso events and programming on property
    • Develop activation plans, workback schedules, production timelines and budgets
    • Coordinate logistics with all partners and vendors

    • Community Outreach
    • Identify and partner with key community partners, stakeholders and non-profit organizations to host on-property events (in-store and property-wide) and through off-property initiatives, if applicable
    • Establish relationships with brands, businesses and community partners to promote tenants to their employees, database, customers, etc.
    • Identify and target local corporations and businesses to partner with through property and tenant incentives, offers, invitations to events for their employees and executives

    • Tenant Relations & Marketing
    • Support and/or lead new tenant grand-openings in conjunction with marketing and leasing teams
    • Work with tenants and internal teams (Creative, PR, Digital, Brand Partnerships, Specialty Leasing, Signature Events, etc.) to promote their offerings through marketing channels, including signage, digital, activations and off-property awareness
    • Track and oversee tenant participation for marketing events on property and seasonal shopping periods

Qualifications required:

    • Minimum of four years marketing, retail and experiential experience
    • Experience in event production and logistics
    • Knowledge of digital, influencer and social media marketing
    • Knowledgeable about the fashion and retail industry as well as pop-culture
    • Awareness of marketing trends
    • Creative and provides thoughtful ways to market the brand
    • Understands print media (press checks, printing process, etc.)
    • Professional client relations skills
    • Ability to multi-task and maintain good temperament during high pressure, fast paced situations
    • Ability to build strong relationships with tenants, clients, vendors
    • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat and file sharing software
    • Efficient time management skills and adherence to deadlines
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Positive attitude and desire to learn and improve
    • Self-starter with strong work ethic
    • Ability to work during non-office hours and weekends

Education

    • Bachelor’s degree

Physical demands and work environment:

    • Ability to speak clear and concise English
    • Must be mobile to move around the entire property and occasionally travel off the property
    • Must read manuals, safety materials, and operational guides relating to equipment and service contracts
    • Must be able to hear well enough to communicate with management, co-workers, vendors, contractors, tenants and customers
    • Required to sit, stoop, kneel or crouch, climb ladders, and use handle to handle, grasp, feel or reach
