Director, Technology

The Director of Technology will manage infrastructure and service desk operations for Caruso.

Candidates should have 5-7 years of experience in IT and management with broad spectrum of exposure to designing/managing enterprise network and systems in a growing environment.  Should have strong experience managing IT Service Desk based on ITIL framework with a focus on customer service in a fast-paced and growing environment. This will be an extremely hands-on role leading a small team of 2 IT Support Technicians and Systems Administrator supporting multiple sites. 

Essential functions and responsibilities:

    • Lead Service Desk and Infrastructure Operations for entire organization and sites
    • Manage the IT operational budget and reforecast as necessary providing reports
    • Design and implement end user trainings to facilitate adoption of new tools and applications
    • Define and write standard operating procedures, policies and standards to streamline the application optimize the application of technology

Qualifications required:

    • Expert proficiency in WAN/LAN networking including Wireless (MPLS, Metro Ethernet, VPN and routing), 802.1x/RADIUS authentication
    • Experience deploying/managing HPE Aruba switches and access points, Fortinet and/or Cisco firewalls
    • Expert proficiency in Microsoft Active Directory, DNS, Group Policy, Exchange/Office365
    • Experience with IT Service Management platforms (incident, asset, change and problem management)
    • Experience managing systems supporting enterprise CRM and ERP platforms (Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle/JD Edwards)
    • Experience with network monitoring platforms (SolarWinds, PRTG)
    • Experience with hybrid cloud implementations (Azure/Office365, AWS)
    • Calm demeanor and positive attitude


    • ITIL v3 Foundation, Practitioner 
    • Microsoft Certifications (MCSA, MCSE – Windows 10 Enterprise, Windows 2016/2012R2 Server, Exchange 2013/2016, SQL Server 2014/2016)
    • Network Certifications (CCNA, CCNP, Network+)
    • Security Certifications (CISSP, GSEC)
