The firm manages a long-short equity fund and makes investments in early-stage to late-stage private investments. Position Overview 

Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer & Fund Controller, the Fund Accountant will assist in driving the financial activities across our public investment portfolio. The main responsibilities will include portfolio accounting-related tasks and working closely with the fund’s administrator on a daily and monthly basis.  The ideal candidate would thrive in a growth-stage environment with a self-starter attitude and strong attention to detail. Professional experience working with Hedge Funds is preferred.


    • Review of the monthly NAV package and investor allocations prepared by the fund’s administrator and ensure timely delivery of monthly investor statements.
    • Position and p&l reconciliations with the fund’s prime brokers and administration.
    • Resolution of trade breaks.
    • Maintain shadow allocations in Eze Investor Accounting.
    • Cash management and margin requirements review.
    • Respond to client-specific requests and generate customized reporting.
    • Frequent interaction with the legal, compliance, investor relations teams.


    • Candidates should have 1-3 years of public accounting, operations, and/or private industry experience.
    • Bachelor’s Degree is required.
    • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel especially.
    • Experience with a 3rd party investor allocation system preferred (Eze Investor Accounting, NTAS, Advent Partner, etc.).
    • Experience with a 3rd party accounting system preferred (Enfusion, Geneva, etc.)
    • Demonstrated knowledge of hedge fund accounting principles that supports a growing portfolio. 
    • Strong attention to detail, follows tasks through to completion and has a high sense of urgency.
    • Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
    • Ability to respond well to questions and seek clarification as needed. 
    • Self–starter with the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
