The Role
Casetext is seeking sales talent to join our growing sales organization. You will help us sell our product suite to attorneys, particularly to solo and small law firms nationwide. As an Account Executive, you will successfully nurture leads from prospecting to close. You will lead demonstrations of the products, guide users as they are evaluating our services and proactively reach out to ensure client satisfaction while continuously hunting and closing new business. Our ideal candidate is someone who has received a JD or has law firm experience, is an exceptional communicator and fast learner, and wants to join an exciting and growing startup in a sales capacity.

As an Account Executive you will:

    • Become an expert on the Casetext Research, Parallel Search, and Compose products and demos
    • Contact prospects and engage in open ended questions that lead to the prospects needs and pain points. Reconnect with viable prospects to do a product demonstration for attorneys who are prospective customers, explaining the ins-and-outs of how to use the products, and helping prospects determine how and why Casetext is the right fit for their practice
    • Guide prospects through the purchasing process via email, phone calls, and screen share presentations
    • Hunt for and develop marketing qualified leads or follow up with organic customer inquiries
    • Develop and execute sales strategy and all levels and the full cycle for prospects and customers
    • Drive revenue by meeting and/or exceeding new business quota on a quarterly basis
    • Help create the strategy for how we service the market of the law firms within your portfolio
    • Collaborate cross-departmentally to improve Casetext products and ensure superlative customer experience and helping clients understand R.O.I.
    • Ultimately, bring in new business and revenue for Casetext

You have:

    • Previous sales and/or startup experience preferred
    • A hunter/new business mentality
    • Excellent presentation and communication skills
    • Extremely fast learner, capable of fully understanding complex products and explaining them to others in simple terms
    • Resourceful and capable of working in a startup environment
    • Enthusiastic and passionate
    • JD or legal experience is a plus
