As the Head of US Solutions at CaseWare, you will drive the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for our United States audit and assurance and financial reporting focused cloud and desktop products. You will manage, hire and develop a team of product managers and product owners and partner with our technical and product platform teams. Your goal is to keep the teams focused on building and delivering innovative solutions that exceed customers’ expectations while maintaining a strong focus on standard compliance.

What you will be doing:

    • You will be responsible for driving strategic and operational product discussions with internal and external partners to ensure successful execution. 
    • You will be accountable for product roadmaps, identifying new opportunities and producing business cases for stakeholder buy in, trade offs, resource allocation, and execution within the US solutions team.
    • You will play a critical role in creating alignment between development teams and stakeholders, including external partners. A collaborative attitude is essential to the job.
    • Design and lead the execution of the product strategy for the accounting focused products. Be able to prioritize requirements of the customers and items that impact the US market.
    • Ensure that the roadmap aligns with the overall product and company vision.
    • Evangelize the vision constantly so all stakeholders are aligned, have context, and understand where we are going. 
    • Be an expert on the US public accounting domain, the market, and the trends.
    • Be the champion and voice of customers and build impactful customer relationships.
    • Own the performance of the product, goals, and initiatives. Own requirements, specifications, and release plans.
    • Curate leading trends in both the accounting profession and technology to provide customers with great solutions.
    • Quality is a top priority for you and CW, and by focusing on quality, you help deliver greater value to our customers. 
    • Compliance is fundamental to the products and you ensure that this is a key deliverable.
    • Responsible for prioritization, scoping, planning, scheduling and on-time delivery of US products.

What qualifications you’ll bring:

    • A track record of delivering innovative products.
    • A US CPA in good standing, with a strong interest in technology.
    • Deep knowledge and understanding of current US audit and accounting standards and the ability to read and interpret future standards.
    • 10+ years of product management and/or public accounting experience.
    • Actively practiced in the last ten years.
    • Thrive in a collaborative environment involving different stakeholders, platform teams, and domain experts.
    • A life long learner and self motivated to stay current with all professional standards and changes in the accounting and auditing profession.
    • Results orientated - willing to roll up their sleeves and take initiative.
    • Self-starter, can effectively work independently and without daily supervision.
    • Ability to work efficiently, communicate and collaborate effectively in a virtual environment.
    • Strong computer skills including expertise in Google Documents and spreadsheets, or equivalent, ability to pick up new software functionality as CW products evolve.
