As a key member of the Global Revenue Operations Team within Caseware’s Commercial organization, reporting to the Director, Global Revenue Operations, the Senior RevOps Analyst is responsible for driving data-driven decision-making processes across departments. This position involves analyzing large datasets, designing and implementing BI solutions, and providing actionable recommendations to stakeholders. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, proficiency in SQL and BI tools, and a track record of delivering impactful BI solutions. Please note, that preference is to have this role hybrid. The successful candidate will be working 3 days a week from our Toronto office located at 351 King St E, Toronto, ON. We are open to remote in other provinces.

What you will bring:

    • Become a subject matter expert on Global Caseware products and corresponding revenue generation and recognition artifacts to deliver a global view of the business
    • Serve as a subject matter expert in multiple data sources related to commercial data
    • Implement data quality checks and governance policies to maintain data accuracy, completeness, and security.
    • Build and automate advanced queries to analyze data and optimize report solutions for efficiency (eg. SQL, Scala, Python, etc.)
    • Develop tools and data structures that simplify access to data and analysis of data from a variety of data sources
    • Develop data mining models and data analysis methodologies to identify trends in large unstructured data sets. Analyze and interpret collected data
    • Collaborate with Revenue departments, utilizing data modeling and statistical expertise to address key commercial artifacts like Monthly and quarterly business reviews
    • Generate, maintain and track against KPIs for pipeline, performance and forecast metrics to track effectiveness for global commercial teams
    • Design and develop BI dashboards, reports, and visualizations using tools such as Tableau and Power BI.
    • Enhance and execute on quarterly commercial commission plans
    • Maintain strict confidentiality and discretion when working with confidential organizational data and information

What you will bring:

    • UAT, Documentation, Requirements gathering, working with internal users
    • Have experience with SQL to query and handle large data sets
    • Familiarity with data management tools such as Excel, Sheets, and SQL Server.
    • Outstanding analytical ability and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data compellingly.
    • Ability to collaborate effectively with business managers, demonstrating influencing and negotiation skills.
    • Good understanding of data modeling, data architecture, and database design
    • Strong understanding of the SaaS business model
    • Experience with multiple BI tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, Looker (Tableau preferred)
    • Understanding of relational and dimensional data models, including reporting (using SQL queries, stored procedures etc), relational database management techniques, applications and tools (SQL Server Analysis Services, SQL Server Reporting Services etc)
    • Experience with Microsoft Office with proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project and Visio
    • Ability to stitch data from disparate sources to provide insights to C-suite executives
    • Experience in python or R programming strongly desired

    • Have a strong understanding of the SaaS land and expand funnel (required)
    • Are an Excel wizard (required)
    • Have proficiency in data visualization tools like Tableau, PowerBI, Looker (Tableau preferred)
    • Experience with stitching multiple data sources for visualization in Tableau
    • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills and a proven ability to make strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders using large amounts of unstructured data
    • Have the ability to maintain high performance under tight timelines and a “roll up your sleeves” mindset to get any job done
    • Have the ability to bring structure to ambiguous areas of opportunity and thrive in an unstructured, fast-moving environment
