We are seeking a Director of Financial Planning & Analysis to provide timely and accurate consolidated information (financial and operating metrics, ad hoc analyses) to the CEO, CFO, and operating divisions. You will also be responsible for the consolidation of annual budgets, both operating (including income statements and balance sheets) and capital expenditures, and quarterly rolling forecasts.

You Will:

    • Oversee consolidation of company-wide forecasts and budgets, monthly variance explanations between forecasts/budgets and actual, including summaries from Projects to various partnerships and other upper legal entities set up in Catalyze’s Org Structure
    • Obtain comprehensive understanding of company’s business model(s), KPI’s, project and overhead costs drivers
    • Oversee financial analyses and financial systems, establishing and implementing financial control policies and procedures to ensure validity of the company’s performance metrics and financial management reporting
    • Prepare and present periodic financial statements, performance metrics and/or forecasts to the Board of Directors or senior management
    • Review financials (actuals and forecast) with VP Finance & Treasurer, CFO, and CEO on a monthly basis
    • Create and review slides for Board of Directors and external presentations, as requested, for analysts, potential business partners, investors, or executive leadership
    • Support Financial Reporting, Corporate Accounting, CFO, CEO as needed to ensure compliance with internal controls over financial reporting
    • Maintain and update financial systems and other integrated applications to ensure there is “one source of truth”
    • Collaborate with VP Finance & Treasurer on projects, as needed, to support Catalyze’s Board and Executives

You Bring to the Team:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred
    • 10+ years of Finance and Accounting experience in varying capacities, preferably with operational finance/divisional controller experience
    • Significant experience leading and directing the deliverables of Finance & Accounting teams (preferred 5+ years of leadership experience)
    • Significant experience using logic, solid judgment and data to determine effective solutions and strong written and verbal communication skills to influence buy-in among stakeholder groups
    • Proven ability to deliver results and ensure direct reports stay focused on priorities when managing multiple competing projects
    • Ability to identify opportunities and issues, proactively act and follow through to resolve or capitalize on them
