We are seeking an experienced Senior Financial Reporting Analyst to join our small but growing accounting team to be responsible for preparing consolidated and stand-alone financial statements for applicable entities at Catalyze. This role is also responsible for assisting the Senior Manager of Financial Reporting with annual audits and supporting the monthly and quarterly close processes by preparing journal entries and account reconciliations

You Will:

    • Assist Senior Manager of Financial Reporting                            
    • Assist with the preparation of project and subsidiary-level financial statements and related schedules for monthly and quarterly reporting packages, which may include the statement of cash flows and members’ equity.
    • Assist with the preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements, including updating disclosures for the current reporting period and preparing related supporting schedules.
    • Assist with the preparation of monthly and quarterly journal entries, including preparation of related supporting schedules and account reconciliations as needed, for financial activity associated with debt, accrued and capitalized interest, amortization of debt issuance costs, leases, failed sale-leasebacks, etc.
    • Assist with the analysis and preparation of intercompany transactions associated with the Company’s subsidiaries and partnerships, and ensure the intercompany balances are properly eliminated on a consolidated basis.
    • Assist with the preparation and review of journal entries involving complex transactions associated with the Company’s partnerships.
    • Assist management with the annual audit of the Company’s consolidated financial statements and partnerships by providing supporting schedules and responding to requests from the auditors.

What You Bring to the Team:

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting; or 5+ years of relevant experience
    • Renewable energy industry experience preferred
    • Experience working on multiple high-value projects while prioritizing effectively, managing competing expectations, and meeting deadlines
    • Impeccable attention to detail and delivery of high-quality work in a fast-paced environment
    • Strong sense of ownership and accountability
    • Familiarity with Microsoft Suite, Procore, and Sage ERP a plus
    • Ability and willingness to travel up to 5% of the time
    • Valid driver’s license and car insurance that meets or exceeds the minimum requirements of the State where you reside
    • Ability and willingness to pass background checks
