We’re looking for a Senior Information Security Analyst to join our Information Security team at Catena Media.This is a hands-on role with strategic impact. You’ll take ownership of daily security operations while working closely with management and stakeholders across the business. You’llbe responsible formonitoring systems, responding to threats, and helping shape a strong and practical security posture. We're looking for someone ready to step in with confidence, initiative, and a clear understanding of what needs protecting and why. 

Your Challenge

    • Monitor networks, endpoints, and infrastructure for suspicious activity using available tooling (e.g. SIEM, XDR). 
    • Investigate and respond to security alerts and incidents, ensuring actions are documented and follow-ups are tracked. 
    • Operate and maintain core security tools, including firewalls, email filtering, endpoint protection, and threat detection systems. 
    • Perform regular vulnerability assessments and coordinate remediation efforts with relevant stakeholders. 
    • Implement and maintain security controls such as access management, encryption, and patching. 
    • Stay current with emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and security trends, and assess relevance to the business. 
    • Contribute to internal security awareness, providing guidance on good practices and hygiene across teams. 
    • Assist in maintaining and updating security policies, procedures, and technical documentation. 
    • Participate in and coordinate the on-call schedule for incident response, always ensuring adequate coverage. 
    • Translate security objectives into actionable work and support the execution of strategic initiatives. 
    • Track team performance against defined SLAs and KPIs; ensure consistent reporting on incidents, risks, and metrics. 
    • Act as a liaison between InfoSec and other departments to ensure alignment on security risks and mitigation activities. 
    • Mentor junior team members or cross-functional colleagues on key security concepts and workflows.

    • Proactive and improvement-focused, therefore doesn’t wait for perfect conditions to fix what’s broken. 
    • Communicates clearly, especially when explaining technical risk to non-technical people. 
    • Works well with others; security is a team sport here. 
    • Takes ownership and follows through without needing handholding. 
    • Stays calm when things get messy and knows how to prioritise.
