The Product Designer’s responsibilities include supporting teams in the optimization and development of the UI and UX for the portfolio sites. To work cross-functionally across the product, engineering, and marketing teams to deliver design value throughout the product life cycle.
YOUR CHALLENGE:
- Supporting Product, SEO and content in improving and developing the UI and logical layout of pages
- Optimising the interface and the positioning of conversion elements to validate design decisions and identify new opportunities that result in increased engagement
- Developing, improving and optimising user flows for maximum conversion rates thus optimising click-outs and conversion
- Working with Product to produce wireframes and figmas to support product development requests, ensuring UI/UX standards are upheld during the development process and through to launch
- Helping with the QA for new Interface and User experience developments and improvements
- Analysis of portfolios and suggest improvements and optimisations
- Ensuring UI/UX best practices are upheld
- Plan and execute AB testing to optimise key KPIs
- Partner with key stakeholders to unite the visual style across each product.
- Any other ad hoc duty that may be required
TO DO IT, YOU WILL NEED:
- Proven experience as a product designer or in a similar role.
- Thinking in terms of mobile-first, responsive, scalable systems, not one-off solutions.
- Being an excellent facilitator that is comfortable leading teams through ideation, research,and the natural obscurity that occurs when defining new design product features
- Experienced in creating and managing multiple design systems
- Being comfortable with owning a project, helping scope it and driving it to the shippingstage
- Paying attention to details like easing functions, data visualisation and the delightfuldetails that make a product special
- Skilled at using modern design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Webflow, Framer,Adobe suite etc
- Possessing a high level of visual and interaction design skills, creating animations,transitions and interactive design elements
- Ability to understand HTML, CSS, JavaScript and Wordpress Gutenberg Blocks is considered an asset
