We are looking for SEO Specialist who will report to the Product Manager and will work in a cross functional team as well as with other SEO colleagues.
Preferred location: Malta or UK
We are open for candidates based outside above location open to work as a consultant.

SCOPE OF THE JOB:

    • The SEO Specialist strategizes and executes on-page and off-page initiatives to grow our products’ keyword rankings and organic traffic. This role requires the ability to be strategic but it is strongly operational: the SEO specialist is responsible for execution from start to finish, relying on the multi-functional team for knowledge sharing, help in complex projects and best practices implementation. The main goal of the role is to drive incremental revenue while maintaining overall site health.

YOUR CHALLENGE:

    • Be updated on latest market trends and collaborate with the team to align on the strategic route to follow
    • Collaborate on the strategy for APAC region as well as SEO KPI setting for market/assets
    • Be accountable for a successful SEO strategy implementation
    • Ensure top rankings for high intent keywords so to have a massive flow of valuable monetizable traffic to the assets
    • Know intimately the competitive landscape, constantly analyse the techniques and the changes in the SERPs
    • Be updated with the SEO trends. Be the team ambassador on best practices, while trying to experiment/implement them at large
    • Conduct in-depth keyword research, manage keyword rank tracking and reporting to drive the most valuable traffic
    • Establish content best practices and work constantly with the Content specialists to coordinate and execute an appropriate content strategy
    • Be meticulous about on-page optimization and reactive on on-page actions to improve rankings continuously
    • Initiate technical audits, analysis, and implementation of technical recommendations independently and/or with the help of the Tech SEO
    • Build an off page strategy that will supercharge the on page activity and execute it safely and effectively
    • Collaborate constantly with the team and make sure that the whole user journey is appropriate to the business goals and objectives.
    • Have a sharp eye for monetisation opportunities and user behaviour improvement on optimised sites
    • Document changes and report on results (upon request/recurrently/proactively) and be able to react to data to correct issues/grab opportunities
    • Collaborate with non SEO stakeholders (ex: product owners, product managers, developers, commercial) to ensure that every change and initiative favour SEO in terms of achievement potential. At the same time, does every effort to contribute to the success of other stakeholders’ projects

TO DO IT, YOU WILL NEED:

    • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, or related field
    • At least 3 years of hands-on SEO experience in affiliation, preferably in gambling/sports betting verticals
    • Experience in APAC markets (strong advantage)
    • Experience working with a variety of SEO tools such as Screaming Frog, Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Google Search Console and CMS products such as WordPress
    • Strong motivation and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
    • Fluent English and Japanese and excellent communication skill
    • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to seek out business value
    • Experience in PPC/Social (desirable)
    • Experience in funnel analysis (desirable)
