Celara is looking for an AI Software Engineer with strong coding fundamentals and the pride of a real builder. You’re not a tinkerer or a notebook-only hacker — you thrive on writing clean, production-ready code, shipping systems, and seeing them work in the real world. You know how to use AI tools as leverage, but you don’t rely on them; and you can dive in by hand when it matters. What You’ll Do
- Move fast and don’t break things: ship quickly while keeping quality and reliability high
- Write real software: clean, production-grade code you’re proud of — not just notebooks
- Build AI-powered applications end-to-end: backend, frontend, integrations, and cloud
- Owner mindset: do what it takes – coding, debugging infra, iterating on product etc.
- Iterate fast: ship, gather feedback, improve, repeat
- Thrive in ambiguity: figure out requirements on the fly; create structure where needed
- Own delivery: success is measured by products shipped and how well they perform in the real world

Must-Have Skills
- Strong software engineering fundamentals and coding discipline
- Python expertise, with experience building real systems (not just research notebooks)
- Willingness to work across the stack — backend, APIs, cloud, and frontend
- Uses AI coding tools as leverage but confident writing code by hand
- Comfort with DevOps basics (Docker, deployment pipelines, cloud environments)
- Ambitious, competitive, and driven to win - takes pride in delivering excellence fast
- Resilience and grit to succeed in a high-pressure, low-structure environment
- Clear communication and product mindset — able to turn feedback into better systems
Bonus Skills
- Experience in Conversational AI and Voice AI systems
- Experience with LLMs, RAG, embeddings, or fine-tuning
- Exposure to frontend frameworks (React, JS)
- Familiarity with MLOps / CI/CD
- Prior experience in an early-stage startup or small, scrappy team
