Celerion is seeking a Screening Conduct Specialist to support participant screening and returns procedures. In this role, you’ll perform essential clinical tasks including check-ins, vital signs, ECGs, phlebotomy, and medical history reviews. You may also assist with participant outreach, entering medical history in study databases, and assisting teams with screening and study procedures.
Qualified candidates will ensure participant safety, maintain data integrity, and support biological sample transport between sites in accordance with Celerion SOPs. The role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and adherence to all safety and regulatory standards.
Schedule: 6:00am-3:00pm Monday-Friday (Occasional weekend availability & flexibility)
Part time and Full time positions Available.
Essential Functions
- Perform Screening/Returns clinical duties
- Qualified to perform all required Screening/returns clinical conduct tasks (check-ins, vital signs, ECGs, draw blood, etc) as assigned.
- May review medical history or other Screening/returns data with participant candidates
- May assist in participant outreach efforts
- May enter medical history or other Screening data into study databases or other Celerion systems
- May be responsible for safety of study/screening participants
- May assist Principal Investigator/Sub investigator with Spanish language translation and procedures during physical exams
- Transport biological samples/study data between sites, when assigned:
- Prepare biological samples for transport, in compliance with Celerion SOPs and study protocols, to ensure safe handling, sample viability/data integrity and chain of custody.
- Complete required transportation logs for proper sample/data tracking and upload to Veeva on a daily basis.
- Ensure biological samples and participant data from Screening/returns clinics are delivered in a timely and safe manner.
- Communicate to supervisor any issues which may have the potential to compromise sample/data integrity, viability or chain of custody.
- Must follow all local traffic laws and safe driving standards while operating a Celerion vehicle, and possess a valid AZ driver’s license in good standing
- May perform clinical conduct within the study clinics, as task qualified and assigned
- May help with lab rechecks and post-study rechecks
- May reach out to subjects to schedule rechecks or missed events
- Conduct other reasonable duties as assigned
- High school diploma or GED
- Post-high school education or training in medical/life sciences preferred
- CPR certification preferred
- Strong reasoning and communication skills and attention to detail
- Bilingual English Spanish language ability preferred
- For Sample Transport assignment:
- Must have valid AZ drivers license in good standing
- Must have completed required CITI courses and Celerion SOP training on the transport of biological samples and the safe-handling of hazardous materials.
