Position Summary

We are seeking an innovative and highly motivated Senior Recruiter who will contribute significantly to the growth of the Cellares team.  

The primary focus of this position will be to partner with organization leaders to hire essential talent to a variety of departments, and to assist with HR matters.

Candidates should enjoy working in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment, and be prepared to tackle a broad selection of challenges as the company grows.

Responsibilities

    • Own full cycle recruitment for multiple roles and define the requirements for each
    • Work with the recruiting team to develop effective sourcing strategies and campaigns
    • Collaborate and work closely with hiring managers to establish a strategy to successfully fill their unique open roles
    • Manage the candidate interview process; schedule Zoom or onsite interviews, serve as the point of contact for questions, and following up with candidates when necessary
    • Greet candidates and make them feel welcome during onsite visits
    • Arrange travel for candidates flying to our office for onsite interviews
    • Maintain compliance with Federal, State, and Local employment laws and regulations
    • Work closely with the People Operations team on onboarding and offboarding for employees located in our New Jersey site
    • Manage employee relations by addressing and resolving employee issues promptly, effectively, and objectively while complying with applicable laws and policies
    • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience 
    • 6+ years of experience recruiting technical and/or life sciences roles
    • Previous start-up experience is highly desirable
    • Previous experience working within human resources is highly desirable
    • Willingness to be hands-on, own your own requisitions, and work alongside the team
    • Excellent verbal, written, organizational, presentation and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work independently with some formal guidance to set and drive personal and business objectives
    • Ability to work with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
    • Great interpersonal skills, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
    • Self-awareness, integrity, authenticity, and a growth mindset
$90,000 - $160,000 a year
Cellares total compensation package contains competitive base salaries, highly subsidized Medical, Dental, and Vision Plans, 401(k) Matching, Onsite lunches, and Stock options. All displayed pay ranges are approximate, negotiable, and location dependent.
