Position Summary

We are seeking an innovative and highly motivated Senior Product Manager who will contribute to the development and expansion of our Integrated Development and Manufacturing Organization (IDMO) for Cell Therapy Manufacturing. 

The primary focus of this position will be to understand user needs with respect to cell therapy manufacturing. The Senior Product Manager will complete market research on competitor products, services, and customer needs. This person will participate in activities involving the technical teams and continuously improve the current Cellares methodology for gathering and systemizing customer feedback, coordinating with internal teams regarding product issues and/or customer suggestions. This individual will also help oversee the manufacturing planning of various programs, work closely with Marketing on marketing collateral needs, and help provide analyses, reports, and request responses from management. The candidate will support all pre-sale activities including but not limited to client engagement, quoting, and generation of statements of work and other contracts.

Responsibilities

    • Conduct VoC activities to support technical teams from early prototype development  through launch and sustaining engineering
    • Synthesize a coherent product roadmap based on customer input, business goals, and engineering competencies
    • Work with our partners to capture their critical needs and translate them into requirements for the build teams
    • Define product requirements, offering, price, promotions, and discounting guidelines for products and services within the Cellares Cell Therapy Manufacturing Portfolio
    • Drive differentiated solutions to the market through customer focus, data-driven decision making, and clear, frequent, and open cross-functional communication
    • Oversee the product development lifecycle from ideation to commercialization
    • Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource requirements
    • Author and/or review statements of work, master service agreements, and other contract

Requirements

    • Bachelor degree or higher in Biological Sciences or related field
    • 5+ years of hands-on Product Management experience in the biotechnology or medical device industries
    • Experience with large scale automation and benchtop instrumentation in pharma/biotech is highly desirable
    • Domain expertise in cell therapies is required
    • Expertise in CDMO is highly desirable
    • Excellent verbal, written, presentation and interpersonal skills
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Proactive, creative, self-motivated, flexible to work in a small company environment and assume a wide variety of tasks
    • Self-awareness, integrity, authenticity, and a growth mindset

$90,000 - $210,000 a year
Cellares total compensation package contains competitive base salaries, highly subsidized Medical, Dental, and Vision Plans, 401(k) Matching, Free EV Charging, Onsite lunches, and Stock options. All displayed pay ranges are approximate, negotiable, and location dependent.
