Position Summary
The Vice President of Marketing is an Exempt/Full-Time position that will oversee the company’s marketing function and play a critical role in helping the company create and execute on its strategy. This role requires a hands-on leader who thrives in fast-paced, pragmatic, small company environments. This role will work closely with the CEO and the entire executive team to identify innovative marketing and product strategies, close strategic partnerships and implement market access strategies (reimbursement, clinicals, centers of excellence, etc.). This role will be a key member of the Company’s executive management.
Responsibilities/Duties
● Lead Centerline Biomedical’s marketing function.
● Hire and manage all marketing personnel.
● Participate in and help drive company’s annual business planning and long-term strategic planning.
● Implement strategies that support sales of products currently commercialized and prepare company for release of new products.
● Drive the training of healthcare professionals and sales and other personnel regarding company’s existing and future products.
● Collaborate with CEO, CTO and others to identify and manage physician Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs).
● Participate in new product development, including identifying and prioritizing new product opportunities that help drive Centerline Biomedical’s strategy and drive financial growth of the company.
● Oversee the creation of business cases or business plans for new product opportunities and prepare related Go-To-Market plans.
● Collaborate with sales leadership and others in the company to meet company’s annual sales objectives.
● Help CEO and others prepare Board presentations and present to the Board as requested.
● Work with CEO and other executives to identify and manage partnerships with other companies, leading these initiatives as requested.
● Lead development of messaging and branding for Centerline, the IOPS technology platform, and individual products.
● Develop and implement a reimbursement strategy for IOPS and future products developed by Centerline Biomedical.
● Collaborate with Centerline Biomedical’s clinical personnel, CTO, and others to create and execute on an evidence generation strategy.
● Set and implement the conference strategy for Centerline Biomedical.
● Be the key face to societies, conferences, press, and other relevant third-party entities (SVS, VEITH, VIVA, RSNA, ARRT, VQI, Endovascular today, others).
● Set and implement a government strategy to approach VAs and get listed on the FSS or ECAT
● Help develop IOPS “Centers of Excellence” in key geographic locations.
● Follow all company policies including, but not limited to, accurate and timely expense reporting and updates to the CRM system.
● Keep abreast of and disseminate new product and industry knowledge to the team.
● Additional duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications, Education, and Experience Required
Education and Experience
● BA/BS degree or equivalent relevant experience
● 10+ years of a proven track record of the leading the marketing function in a medical device company
● 3+ years of experience in a medical start-up sales environment will be considered valuable, but not necessary
● Experience with some subset of the following: medical imaging, image-guided interventions, vascular surgery, capital and consumable medical devices
● Strong leadership skills and ability to foster long term partnerships

● Strong relationship-building skills with respect to both internal and external personnel, including customers and strategic partners
● Strong well-established people-management and leadership skills
● Ability to rapidly become proficient with the concepts of endovascular surgery as well as the technical function and capabilities of the company’s technology
● Ability to create strategies and execute the implementation
● Comfortable working within a start-up environment requiring a hands-on approach
● Results-oriented team builder with proven experiences building and growing organizations by taking new products to market
● Excellent interpersonal skills to align and foster positive working relationships across the organization (internal and external)
● Ability to develop and prioritize business activities in line with the strategic plan
● Excellent verbal and written communication skills
● Ability to travel over 50% if needed
● Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities

Work Conditions:
Work is performed primarily in a standard office environment. Essential functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in an office setting; to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time; to occasionally bend, kneel and reach; to lift, carry, push/pull light to moderate amounts of weight; to operate office equipment that may require fine motor coordination (i.e., use of a keyboard). On occasion these activities may be performed in interventional suites while wearing lead garments.
