Job Title: Technical Writing (Knowledge Management)
Location: Scott AFB 
 
Responsibilities:
·       Prepare written documents following standard guidelines for technical publications; reviews and revises existing documents; creates graphical images, flow charts, and diagrams for inclusion in documents; proofreads, reviews, and edits material written by others; researches, develops, verifies, and writes content for printed manuals, documentation, and supporting materials for software, hardware, technical procedures, computer-related services, and certification and accreditation artifacts; interviews programmers, engineers, developers, system administrators, Information Assurance Managers, and other technical personnel to become familiar with product technology, functions, and behaviors.
·       Provide necessary written agendas, documentation, post meeting minutes, technical diagrams/drawings, and spreadsheets
·       Documentation including, but not limited to CPT Reports required for Pre-mission execution and post-mission execution. Examples include Tactical Mission Plan, After Action Reports, Mission Final Reports, Deployment Plans, Physical/Logical Diagrams, Standard Operating Procedures, Security Tool User/Admin Guides.
·       Utilize information sharing portals (e.g., SharePoint sites, unit share drives) to have information readily accessible to unit personnel.
·       Train and educate front-end users of the knowledge management tools and content availability on current unit process and procedures.
 
Qualifications:
·       BS/BA in related field
·       1-3 years of relevant experience
·       Clearance: TS/SCI
