The Role:

Reporting to the VP of HR, the HR Manager will play an integral role in owning and managing several areas of the Human Resources lifecycle, including Healthcare, 401(k) Plan Administration, Health and Wellness Programs, Absence Management, the Performance Review Process, New Hire Onboarding, and other employee experience programs and benefit/compliance initiatives across the organization. The HR Manager is responsible for maintaining active lines of communication within and between departments to share knowledge and support collaborative HR efforts, organizational change, and goal achievement, managing change within a fast-paced, dynamic and progressive organization, while maintaining a commitment to the Firm’s vision, spirit, and culture.

We are looking for a talented leader who will lead our efforts to continue building our Human Resources team and function. You should be a strategic self-starter, but more importantly, process-oriented and operationally driven. You should be able to work independently at times but also collaborate with your team, as well as fellow departments and practice line leaders to identify needs and solutions. Above all, you should be a client service leader who is focused on helping your team members be their best and continually learn new skills.
 
Here’s What You’ll Do:

·       Develop and implement HR policies, programs, and procedures that align with CFGI’s goals and objectives.
·       Actively maintain up-to-date knowledge of labor laws, regulations, and best practices to ensure compliance in all CFGI-related HR activities.
·       Manage North America and UK Health, Welfare and Wellbeing Benefit offerings and vendor relationships, including the day-to-day administration of group benefit programs (medical, dental, vision, short-term and long disability, worker’s compensation, life insurance, flexible spending plan, commuter benefits, 401(k) plan, etc.).
·       Provide guidance and support to CFGI employees on HR-related matters, including performance management, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
·       Lead the system administration for the Performance Review Cycles and all related reporting pertaining to the cycles.
·       Collaborate with CFGI senior management to develop and implement strategies for talent management, retention, and succession planning.
·       Collaborate with the other corporate functions, such as Finance and the Onboarding/Administrative teams, to facilitate the employee onboarding process, delivering an outstanding and seamless experience, and ensuring that employees have the applicable training to operate effectively within the company and the role.
·       Lead the annual open enrollment process, including participation in plan reviews, plan decisions, and managing employee communications.
·       Prepare reports and metrics to analyze HR trends and provide insights to CFGI leadership to support decision making processes.
·       Process and administer all leave-of-absence requests and disability paperwork: medical, personal, disability, CFRA and FMLA. Comfort level with state-specific leaves a must.
·       Audit retirement plan eligibility, HRIS/recordkeeper integration files, and recordkeeper reports.
·       Create communications campaigns to align with program rollout or refresh to keep employees engaged in programs.

Here’s What You’ll Bring to the Table:

·       Bachelor’s degree required.
·       5+ years of experience in Human Resources, including 2+ years of management experience, preferably in a high growth professional services industry.
·       3 + years of increasingly responsible experience in the design, development, and implementation of benefit programs.
·       PHR and/or CEBS professional designations preferred.
·       Knowledge of all pertinent federal and state regulations, filing, and compliance requirements both adopted and pending affecting employee benefit programs, including ERISA, HIPPAA, ACA, COBRA, FMLA, ADA, SECTION 125, Worker’s Compensation, Medicare, and Social Security and DOL requirements.
·       Advanced computer proficiency and technical aptitude with the ability to utilize Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and knowledge of PowerPoint); experience with ADP Workforce Now is preferable.
·       Ability to maintain professional and approachable demeanor to effectively handle sensitive and confidential employee inquiries and maintain credible rapport.
·       Ability to see broad strategic HR issues and apply rewards programming/recommend alternative solutions.
·       Must have excellent written, interpersonal, and verbal communication skills.
·       Strong analytical skills and thorough knowledge of plan designs.
·       Superior organizational skills with attention to detail; a strategic thinker who can look five steps ahead is preferable.
·       Comfortable interacting with employees at all levels.

·       Must have project management skills to lead both large and small projects within the HR Team and with contributing team members from other departments.
