Summary
As a Staff Accountant, you'll be part of our accounting team and gain exposure to various aspects of our accounting operations. The role provides critical support to many of our most importantly accounting activities, including invoicing, cash application, accounts payable, and month-end close processes. We're looking for someone with strong analytical skills, attention to detail, excellent responsiveness, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
 
Key Responsibilities
Invoicing:
·       Ensure accuracy and completeness of invoicing information, including bill rates, hours, and other fees.
·       Generate, review, edit, and deliver invoices to clients on a monthly basis.
·       Work with client coverage teams to resolve any discrepancies or issues related to invoicing.

Cash Application:
·       Perform daily reconciliation and application of cash receipts against outstanding invoices.
·       Identify and investigate discrepancies between payments received and invoiced amounts.

Accounts Payable Support:
·       Assist in processing accounts payable to verify accuracy of vendor bills, gather necessary approvals, and ensure timely payment.

Month-End Close Support:
·       Assist in the preparation and review of accounting entries for month-end close.
·       Participate in balance sheet and income statement reconciliations to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data.

Process Improvement:
·       Actively participate in process improvement initiatives and make recommendations to streamline invoicing, cash application, month-end close, and accounts payable procedures.
 
Qualifications
·       Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
·       Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and analysis.
·       Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
·       Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. Sage, NetSuite) a plus but not required.
·       Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
·       Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
·       Eagerness to learn and develop new skills in accounting and finance.
 
* For this position, we are requiring that the selected candidate be local to one of our 16 domestic markets. While there is no in-office requirement for this position, we would like the employee to take part in social calendars and be able to collaborate with local team members, partners, and other administrative staff in their respective geography.

Offer packages are based on several factors, such as the specific role and level being hired for, location, as well as the individual's skills, experiences, and qualifications. The good-faith estimated base salary range for this position is: $50,000 - $70,000. In addition to the base compensation, CFGI offers a competitive benefits package and various bonus programs and incentives, based upon an individual’s level and overall work performance.
