The Site Reliability / DevOps Engineer is in charge of our core infrastructure. They manage our systems and services, configurations, monitoring, and ensure that our applications are available and performant.
Responsibilities
- Manage our core platform APIs, containerized Java, NodeJS and Python Applications
- Manage our Playbook platform on AWS Lambda
- CI/CD Setup and Maintenance
- Building software to help operations and support teams
- Ensure all systems are monitored and alerting, escalation procedures are in place
- Build and run incident management processes, lead post-mortem efforts
- Optimizing on-call rotations and processes
- Documenting “tribal” knowledge
Winning Qualifications
- 5+ years of SRE/DevOps experience in a fast-paced SAAS environment.
- 5+ years experience with Software Engineering with a strongly typed language.
- 3+ years experience with Unix
- 3+ years of experience with AWS, with experience creating data pipelines, setting up data warehousing, RedShift and Looker.
- 3+ years experience with infrastructure monitoring solutions.
