The Inventory Control Associate I is responsible for performing routine cycle counts, Bin audits, and assisting with investigations to maintain inventory accuracy. The Associate I works closely with other warehouse functions and must follow inventory procedures and safety guidelines at all times.
A forklift license is required

Duties/Responsibilities

    • Conduct cycle counts and assist with routine inventory audits
    • Support labeling and bin maintenance activities
    • Verify product locations and report discrepancies to inventory leadership
    • Assist with count documentation, document retention, and year end inventory
    • Operate forklifts and handheld barcode scanners
    • Maintain organization of inventory and staging locations to drive accuracy
    • Learn and apply inventory best practices and SOPs under guidance
    • Communicate clearly with materials and receiving teams as needed
    • Other duties as assigned

Required Skills/Abilities:

    • Attention to detail and basic math skills
    • Familiarity with handheld barcode scanners or inventory tools
    • Comfortable manipulating data in excel using formatting and basic formulas
    • Ability to follow instructions and escalate discrepancies when unsure
    • Forklift certification required
    • Willingness to learn ERP system usage and data procedures

Education and Experience:

    • · High school diploma or GED required
    • · Minimum of 1 year in a warehouse or inventory-support role preferred
