On-site
If you love the challenge of keeping complex supply chains running today while building the strategy for tomorrow—this one’s for you. Charm Industrial is looking for a Logistics Manager to take charge of our transportation operations, keep deliveries on track, and lay the groundwork for a logistics function that can scale to gigaton carbon removal. You’ll handle the day-to-day details, shape long-term strategy, and eventually grow a team to support Charm’s mission.
What’s In It For You:
• Competitive pay: $116,000–$140,000/yr depending on experience.
• Fully paid health coverage: We cover 100% of your medical premiums because staying healthy shouldn’t come at a cost.
• Stock options: You're not just clocking in—you’re investing in the future of carbon removal.
• 401(k) with matching: We match 50% of contributions up to 6%—save for the future while you help save the planet (after 1 year of service with no additional vesting periods after that).
• Paid time off & parental leave: Recharge with time off and take care of what matters most.
• Annual professional development stipend: We pay you to keep learning, because curiosity is part of the job.
• On-site perks: Healthy snacks and subsidized lunches—because solving climate change works up an appetite.
• Big mission, real impact: Be part of a company literally burying carbon underground—on purpose, and at scale.
How You Stand Out:
Experience & Background:
• 5+ years in transportation and logistics, ideally with hands-on trucking and/or rail operations.
• Proven ability to run daily operations while also driving improvements and strategy.
• Comfortable managing documentation—purchase orders, invoices, receipts—and keeping payments on track.
Skills & Traits:
• High communication bandwidth: you know how to keep everyone in the loop (whether by text, Slack, email, or phone).
• Obsessed with details but adaptable when plans change.
• Organized and proactive—you spot issues before they become delays.
• Skilled at balancing priorities in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
• Tactical and strategic leadership capabilities to support and lead a growing operation.
Bonus Points:
• Experience with digital logistics management systems.
• Background in purchasing or leasing fleets (railcars, trucks, etc.).
Your Role in Action:
Keep the Wheels Turning:
You’ll manage day-to-day logistics—scheduling trucks and rail shipments, coordinating with brokers, and ensuring deliveries land on time.
Forecast the Future:
You’ll work closely with project development to shape logistics strategy for new sites, particularly around biomass supply and bio-oil injection movements.
Communicate Like a Pro:
When schedules change (and they will), you’ll be the one proactively looping in stakeholders—internal and external—so no one is caught off guard.
Track and Optimize:
From invoices to delivery receipts, you’ll keep documentation airtight. You’ll also monitor costs, fleet utilization, and KPIs to identify opportunities for efficiency and cost savings.
Drive Continuous Improvement:
Partner with engineering operations to manage costs and field efficiency, develop inventory management practices, and propose process improvements that raise the bar.
Why Charm:
At Charm Industrial, we’re not just talking about reducing wildfires, improving agricultural soil, health and fighting climate change—we’re actually doing it. Our technology converts excess biomass into carbon-rich bio-oil and injects it underground for permanent carbon removal. It’s bold. It’s scalable. And it’s working.
We’ve already removed thousands of tons of CO₂, and we’re just getting started! Our customers include names like Microsoft, Shopify, and Stripe, and our team includes creative, gritty people who thrive on innovation, ownership, and mission. We take our mission seriously, but not ourselves—expect weird biomass moments, silly machine names, and a lot of joy in doing hard things together.
