If the thought of wiring control cabinets, debugging sensors, and bringing machines back to life makes you grin (and maybe mutter “I got this”), then this role has your name all over it. Charm Industrial is hiring a hands-on Electrical Engineering Technician to join our Fort Lupton team and help power the future of carbon removal!

What’s In It For You:

Competitive pay: $35–$45/hour depending on experience.
Fully paid health coverage: We cover 100% of your medical premiums because staying healthy shouldn’t come at a cost.
Stock options: You're not just clocking in—you’re investing in the future of carbon removal.
401(k) with matching: We match 50% of contributions up to 6%—save for the future while you help save the planet (after 1 year of service with no additional vesting periods after that).
Paid time off & parental leave: Recharge with time off and take care of what matters most.
Annual professional development stipend: We pay you to keep learning, because curiosity is part of the job.
On-site perks: Healthy snacks and subsidized lunches—because solving climate change works up an appetite.
Big mission, real impact: Be part of a company literally burying carbon underground—on purpose, and at scale.

How You Stand Out:

Experience & Background:
• 5+ years as an electrician or electrical engineering tech in construction, aerospace, automotive, oil & gas, or other heavy-industry settings.
• Comfortable reading and using electrical schematics to wire control cabinets and build cable assemblies.
• Hands-on with sensors, VFDs, motor controllers, and high-power systems.
• Experience in environments where equipment never misbehaves the same way twice (and you secretly like that).

Skills & Traits:
• You see every wiring job as a chance to build something that just works.
• Troubleshooter at heart—you don’t just swap parts, you find root causes.
• Comfortable on ladders, in crawl spaces, or wherever the job takes you.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds (and maybe brag about it later).
• Proactive, collaborative, and steady under pressure—you’re the person teammates call when things go sideways.
• Motivated by messy, fast-paced environments where progress beats perfection.

Bonus Points:
• Familiarity with PLC programming (ladder logic, structured text).
• Knowledge of automation control systems, high-power circuits, and industrial sensors.
• Experience around high-voltage equipment or high-temperature materials.
• Comfort working with big, heavy equipment like conveyors, chippers, or dryers.

Your Role in Action:

Troubleshooting & Debugging:
•  Solve puzzles when machines stop cooperating and get them back online fast.
•  Track down issues in control systems, sensors, and comms—then fix them for good.

Building and Wiring:
•  Design and build cables, connectors, and assemblies.
•  Wire up control cabinets, VFDs, motor controllers, and sensors like it’s second nature.

Design & Commissioning
•  Create simple AC circuits to power our biomass and pyrolysis equipment.
•  Support R&D by wiring and commissioning new prototypes.

Collaboration:
•  Work side-by-side with mechanical engineers, software developers, and operators to integrate systems and keep production moving.

Why Charm:

At Charm Industrial, we’re not just talking about reducing wildfires, improving agricultural soil, health and fighting climate change—we’re actually doing it. Our technology converts excess biomass into carbon-rich bio-oil and injects it underground for permanent carbon removal. It’s bold. It’s scalable. And it’s working.

We’ve already removed thousands of tons of CO₂, and we’re just getting started! Our customers include names like Microsoft, Shopify, and Stripe, and our team includes creative, gritty people who thrive on innovation, ownership, and mission. We take our mission seriously, but not ourselves—expect weird biomass moments, silly machine names, and a lot of joy in doing hard things together.

This isn’t just wiring—it’s wiring that helps fight climate change. If you’ve ever wanted to use your electrical skills to do more than keep the lights on, this is your chance
