About the role

We are looking for an exceptional Junior Revenue Analyst to join our Central Finance team and assist them in the revenue and cost reporting and analysis. You will be involved in the implementation and the improvement of the internal processes for the revenue streams and utilise BI systems on a range of ongoing projects. The role is very dynamic and will suit someone who enjoys using data to derive insights, which will help create solutions to commercial problems. 

Key Responsibilities

    • Assisting with monthly revenue and cost of sales reporting to facilitate timely, accurate and relevant management decisions and meet reporting standards and requirements.
    • Preparation of sales invoices for multi-national Group
    • Assisting with revenue analysis (profitability, variances, discrepancy investigations)
    • Assisting with analysis of the merchant portfolio and the company revenue audit
    • Preparation and maintenance of AR ledgers and associated credit control
    • Supporting the central finance team with inter-company revenue
    • Working with BI team in enhancing and developing internal reporting and revenue analysis
    • Support the Revenue Management Accountant in developing the wider control environment surrounding the revenue reporting
    • Work with the Payments and Reconciliation teams to obtain monthly/annual information for reporting purposes
    • Ad-hoc support for the wider finance teams (Central Finance, Payments and Reconciliation)

About you

    • Up to 1-2 years’ experience working in finance or as an analyst
    • Advanced level Excel (mandatory)
    • Have the ability to work to strict deadlines, particularly with month end reporting
    • Strong analytical skills and critical thinking are required
    • Experienced in managing large datasets
    • Experience working with BI tools (desirable) and accounting packages (Microsoft Navision desirable)
    • Competent in using Word and PowerPoint packages
    • Confident in presenting information
    • Comfortable working within a fast-paced environment
    • Strong communication skills
    • Takes initiative and responsibility for completion of tasks
