Job Description
Under the direction of the VP of Product Development, the Project Manager will be responsible for all the technical as well as managerial efforts required to bring a product from inception to production in an efficient and timely manner. 

Roles & Responsibilities

    • The Project Manager will be responsible for the following efforts:
    • o   Develop and diligently maintain the Project Schedule
      o   Interface and manage the production factory
      o   Developing the Marketing Requirement Document (MRD)
      o   Developing the Project Technical Specifications
      o   Interface with all relevant cross functional teams including:
      o   Chefman China Team
      o   Quality Control Engineering Team
      o   Customer Service Team
      o   UX/UI Design Teams
      o   Industrial Design Team
      o   Culinary & Product Testing Teams
      o   Engineering Team
      o   Sales & Marketing Teams
      o   Logistics/Supply Chain Team
      o   Developing all test procedures
      o   Preparation of presentations for meetings including PDR (Preliminary Design Review) and CDR (Critical Design Review)
      o   Manage and coordinate all vendors and consultants
      o   Completion and storage of production documentation package
      o   Regular reporting of project status to management
      o   Oversee and manage all aspects of product Gift Box Packaging

Required Skills & Experience

    • Thorough familiarity with consumer electro-mechanical products 
    • Familiarity and experience with the stage-gate process of product development
    • Strong technical knowledge of engineering procedures
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Power Point
    • Experience and proficiency with Microsoft Project software
    • Familiarity with Task Management software, such as Monday.com, preferred
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills
    • Ability to work with minimal supervision and to participate and contribute positively in work teams
    • Demonstrated initiative and ability to complete projects, document work and communicate clearly both in writing and verbally
    • Motivation - High energy - Demonstrates strong sense of urgency in approach to all work
    • Ability to multitask and to manage multiple goals and objectives to their successful conclusion

Desired Skills & Experience

    • Technologically and design savvy
    • Experience working with small kitchen appliances
    • Amateur foodie or passionate about cooking or eating
    • Experience or enthusiasm working in an energetic and driven startup environment
    • Bilingual Chinese is a plus

Education & Experience

    • Minimum of 3 years’ Project Management experience in consumer related electronic product development
    • Bachelor of Science degree in either Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
    • Extensive experience in a leadership capacity
    • Experience interfacing with factories in China
