We are on the lookout for an experienced Senior Data Observability Specialist to lead our observability initiatives. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in enhancing our data observability capabilities and ensuring the highest standards of data health and performance for our clients.

You will

    • Develop and oversee the implementation of advanced data observability frameworks to ensure comprehensive monitoring and analysis of data systems.
    • Mentor and guide data engineering teams in the adoption and integration of observability practices.
    • Create sophisticated metrics and dashboards to monitor and report on data system performance, reliability, and integrity.
    • Lead investigations into data incidents, providing expert analysis and recommendations for systemic improvements.
    • Engage with key clients to assess their data needs and design customized observability strategies that align with their business objectives.
    • Champion the adoption of new observability technologies and methodologies, setting the standard for industry best practices.

You have

    • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, with a preference for additional certifications in data management.
    • At least 7 years of experience in a data observability leadership role, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
    • Expert knowledge of data pipeline architectures, data warehousing, big data technologies, and cloud services.
    • Mastery of observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or Splunk, with the ability to customize and extend their functionality.
    • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on delivering actionable insights.
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills, capable of inspiring teams and engaging with senior stakeholders.
