We are looking for a seasoned Senior Data Architect with a passion for mentoring and a proven track record of implementing data standards across multiple teams. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in training teams, rolling out new data standards, and ensuring that these are embraced at all levels of the organization through a collaborative, not top-down, approach.

You will

    • Lead the development and implementation of data architecture standards and best practices across the organization.
    • Conduct training sessions and workshops to educate and empower multiple teams on data standards and best practices.
    • Work directly with teams to ensure understanding, buy-in, and proper implementation of data architecture strategies.
    • Facilitate open communication and collaboration between teams to encourage a shared ownership of data standards.
    • Assess and evaluate the effectiveness of data standards, making adjustments based on feedback and evolving needs.
    • Stay abreast of the latest trends and technologies in data architecture and incorporate these into training and standards.

You have

    • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
    • Minimum of 7 years of experience in data architecture, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
    • Demonstrated experience in training teams and rolling out data standards in a multi-team environment.
    • Strong interpersonal skills with an emphasis on relationship-building, negotiation, and consensus-building.
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex data concepts in understandable terms.
    • Experience with modern data technologies and architectures, including cloud services and big data platforms.
