What you'll do
- Be the airline customer’s SAF program advisor. Guide airline customers on how to plan and execute their SAF programs. Understand and drive how customers leverage the Chooose platform to enable their SAF initiatives and broader decarbonization objectives.
- Be a SAF knowledge center. Advise internal stakeholders on technical specifications for SAF. Maintain a deep, always up-to-date knowledge of the SAF market.
- Support complex software deployments. Hands-on support the implementation of Chooose software solutions for major commercial airlines.
- Maintain a balanced approach and multiple perspectives. Enable commercial growth while considering Chooose’s commitment to enabling long-term, high-integrity climate action.
- Develop and refine documentation. Develop and drive continuous improvement in SAF-related documentation and process for our software deployments. Help shape Chooose growing SAF advisory team.
- Collaborate with multiple Chooose teams to support execution of tasks needed to achieve customer objectives with high precision and quality.
What you'll bring to the table
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in environmental, chemical, aerospace engineering from an accredited institution; other engineering programs may be considered
- 5-10 years of demonstrated success in technical enterprise engagements, management consulting, aerospace, aviation, or similar
- Demonstrated technical expertise and experience with SAF, knowledge of jet fuel and/or refined products; other low-carbon fuels and logistics and transportation is a benefit.
- Knowledge of carbon accounting, and familiarity with associated global climate policies, methodologies and frameworks; experience with SAF voluntary and compliance requirements is a benefit
- Strong technical proficiency of key software development processes with ability to translate business requirements and technical details to product and development teams
- High agency problem-solver that takes initiative, is always learning, and quickly understands how to dissect and go about a new challenges with little guidance
- Very detailed-oriented and strong analytical skills who can work independently on complex data problems and quickly identify gaps, enhancements and define solutions
- Strong collaboration skills with ability to thrive in an environment with multiple stakeholders and work across multi-functional teams in different timezones
- Excellent communication skills, demonstrates the ability to explain complex topics to a variety of audiences, both internal and externally
- You're naturally curious and passionate about climate change, and understand how software can make a difference
- You're willing to be flexible with your work hours to support your colleagues and accommodate our global customers.
- Frequent travel at short notice
- Superior verbal and written communication skills in English
- Located in the EST time zone, but can be flexible

Compensation will be based on experience and skill, commensurate with market rates, and will include both salary and equity in Chooose.
