The Role: 
Chorus is looking for a Senior Recruiting Manager to join our growing People Ops team! You will have the opportunity to transform our organization leveraging your previous experiences scaling high growth companies and leading high performing teams. You will bring a strong point of view about what world class recruiting looks like so that you and your team can continuously improve the systems, tools, and processes we use to hire diverse top talent. You will partner directly with our executive team and organizational leaders and use data to report back on our team's effectiveness. You should have experience using creative programs to grow our diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts. Most importantly, you should be a strong people leader who cares deeply about growing and coaching a team of amazing recruiters.

Overall, you should have the perfect combination of strategic thinking, operational excellence, and are a people first leader. This role will report into our Head of People Operations and be based in San Francisco, CA.

What You'll Do:

    • Partner with the Head of People Ops to drive overall success of our global Recruiting team, including managing prioritization and the overall accountability for each recruiter
    • Lead hiring initiatives, set strategies, and expand on diversity initiatives while balancing resources to support Chorus’ growing business
    • Mentor a team of recruiters in a way that will position each team member to successfully meet their hiring goals and grow their careers at Chorus
    • Build a world class recruiting system: help hiring managers and recruiters build effective recruitment processes, tighten up job descriptions, define success criteria, and ensure a positive candidate experience at all turns
    • Partner closely with Leadership to create comprehensive recruiting strategies for their growing teams
    • Think creatively and bring an innovation framework to talent acquisition with a specific focus on hiring diverse talent
    • Build out reports and dashboards to measure recruiting performance; Use data to evaluate and optimize current hiring processes
    • Willingness to roll up your sleeves; Manage the full-cycle recruiting process for strategic/leadership roles
    • Develop and own our relationship with all recruiting partners and vendors

What You Bring To The Table:

    • 8+ years of in-house recruiting experience, with 4+ years managing a dispersed team, in a venture-backed, fast growing startup environment
    • Direct experience with both technical and non-technical recruitment, with proven strategies for all types of roles
    • Strong commitment to DEI with a desire to advocate for more inclusive approaches to hiring
    • Experience delivering on large projects, implementing process improvements, and managing through change
    • Proven track record of utilizing a data-driven approach to building and innovating
    • Proven track record leading successful teams who exceeded hiring goals while forming positive relationships with executive leadership
    • Experience optimizing a recruiting tech stack to give your team an unfair advantage
    • Experience coaching and enabling a team of recruiters to develop strategic recruiting plans
    • Ability to translate vision into action, strong operational rigor
