The Role:
The Strategic Finance team is responsible for driving strategic and operational improvements. As the Senior Associate you will play a key role in the development of detailed annual and quarterly plans, building complex financial models, and synthesizing data into actionable recommendations. You will both help drive financial discipline of the organization and actively provide insight into business performance through special projects. This is a highly visible role in the organization, working directly with the Director of Strategic Finance and cross-functionally with business partners across the broader organization, including the sales and operations teams.

What You’ll Do:

    • Financial Planning: Contribute to and maintain the company operating model and financial forecasts
    • Financial Reporting: Help drive the strategic planning cycle through weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual processes, including management reporting, variance investigation, forecasting, and scenario planning
    • Business Analytics: Support ad hoc projects to help leadership make financially sound and strategically aligned decisions that thoughtfully weigh opportunities and risk
    • Partnership: Work closely with department leadership, particularly the GTM team, to advance the insight and understanding of business performance to drive further alignment and accountability across the company
    • External Reporting: Generate reporting and presentations related to board meetings and investor communications

What You Bring to the Table:

    • 4+ years of relevant SaaS experience in any roles related to FP&A, strategic finance, investment banking, management consulting, or private equity. Combination of the aforementioned is a plus
    • Advanced Excel & financial modeling skills with SQL proficiency (or ability to learn)
    • Deep understanding of financial statements, valuation methods, and key metrics used in B2B SaaS
    • High degree of data fluency. Able to manipulate large sets of information, uncover hidden insights in our data, and meaningfully improve our understanding of our business through this process
    • High EQ, and proven ability to deliver outstanding results through others in a timely manner using a strong sense of focus, organization, and meticulous attention to detail
    • Ability to effectively present complex ideas in clear, concise manner to drive consensus around business objectives
    • B.A/B.S. in Finance, Business, Economics, or other relevant field
