The Role: 
Chorus is looking for a Human Resources Business Partner to join our People Ops team and support our Tel Aviv Office. You will be a strong, strategic partner to our CTO, VP of Product & Engineering, and other leaders as we continue to grow and empower our Tel Aviv team. You will recruit top engineering talent as we build our iconic team, as well as coach and advise our managers through complex people challenges when needed. You'll be a champion of Chorus' culture and help support our global People Ops initiatives.

This role will be based in central Tel Aviv, within walking distance from the Shalom train station and will report into the Head of People Ops located in San Francisco, CA.

What You'll Do:

    • Be the on the ground People Operations support to the Tel Aviv team; help build and maintain a culture of collaboration, trust, and innovation
    • Partner with and advise leaders at multiple levels including executive leadership on people & culture strategies for our Tel Aviv team including team dynamics, workforce planning, org design, development opportunities, employee relation issues, and compensation related matters
    • Own the full cycle recruiting process for all Tel Aviv hiring from sourcing to offer. Create job specs, proactively build candidate pipelines, drive the full interview process, and negotiate offers and close candidates
    • Be the main point of contact and work in close liaison with our third party payroll firm to ensure timely updates and and payroll review as necessary
    • Support our global compensation strategies and programs by being the local expert on Israel compensation benchmarks and best practices 
    • Own and regularly evaluate the people related programs and perks being offered to our Tel Aviv team and advise on our offerings to keep Chorus competitive in the marketStay up to date on all compliance and employment law regulations in Israel; update and manage all people related policies and the Employee Handbook for the Tel Aviv office
    • Play an active role in the planning and execution of global People Ops initiatives such as Performance Management, Learning and Development, Employee Engagement, etc
    • Identify and recommend continuous improvements to our global HR programs and processes to drive efficiencies and enhance our employee experience
    • Manage an mentor our awesome Tel Aviv Office Manager and support culture initiatives to drive connection and community in our Tel Aviv office and across offices

What You Bring To The Table:

    • 7+ years of People Operations and/or Recruiting experience, with at least 2+ years of people management
    • Experience working in a fast-paced, high performance culture where the business is constantly evolving
    • Experience working for a global company, ideally with offices and teams spread out between Israel and the US
    • Experience coaching and advising executive level leadership teams through difficult issues
    • A proven ability to navigate complex conversations with empathy; ability to drive towards positive outcomes
    • A deep understanding of multiple Human Resources disciplines including compensation practices, performance management, diversity and inclusion, and learning and development
    • A working understanding of local employment laws and regulations and their impact on day-to-day matters
    • Resourceful and a self starter; ability to use data and previous experiences to make decisions
    • Strong organizational skills, ability to manage multiple projects and tasks at once
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills in both Hebrew and English is a must
