The Role

As Product Manager, Data Platform, you will be responsible for partnering with cross-functional stakeholders to define, develop and deliver the data platform that underlies our product and use cases we support. This is a critical role that will enable us to scale our product effectively as we expand across use cases and market segments.

What You'll Do:

    • Own, prioritize and execute on the roadmap for our data platform
    • Build a flexible but standardized data platform and information architecture that enables Chorus to support a variety of conversation intelligence use cases and market segments
    • Work with engineering to ensure consistency and scalability of how we ingest, process, store and surface data within Chorus and partner applications
    • Define functional requirements, develop detailed product specifications and associated project plans
    • Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to understand customer needs and synthesize product feedback
    • Collaborate with other product managers to understand and prioritize platform enhancements needed to support their use case(s)
    • Work with cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle to ensure fast-paced, smooth delivery of features
    • Define and track key metrics to measure the success of your products
    • Drive communication and alignment with key stakeholders

What You Bring to the Table:

    • 3+ years of experience in product management working on data, analytics and/or machine learning SaaS products
    • Ability to quickly understand technical concepts and communicate effectively with both engineers and customers on technical topics
    • Obsession with quality, and understanding of what is required to build a robust and scalable data platform
    • Strong empathy for customers and a passion for problem solving
    • Comfort with ambiguity; ability to build compelling products in emerging categories where customer requirements may not be well defined
    • Experience working with data platform products a strong plus
    • Prior experience as a software developer and/or data scientist a plus, preferably working on back-end or infrastructure projectsGeneral understanding of B2B sales personas as well as common methodologies and processes a plus
    • Bachelor's degree required
