I am a Talent Attracting Analyst looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer in Brazil to join our dynamic team for an exciting project with our international client!
You’ll play a crucial role in designing our cloud infrastructure and developing tools and automation to equip our development teams to deliver reliable, secure, and performant software often and with confidence. You’ll collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure seamless deployment, monitoring, and scaling of our applications.
Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and manage cloud infrastructure to meet our reliability, security, and cost efficiency requirements, applying an “IaC-first” approach
- Implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines to streamline software delivery and reduce time-to-market.
- Develop and enhance a comprehensive observability solution across our applications and infrastructure to proactively meet our system health, performance, and security needs
- Help guide and evangelize our best-practice use of the AWS platform across teams
- Ensure our applications meet our production readiness standards
- Evaluate and incorporate emerging technologies that enhance our overall platform architecture.
Requirements for this challenge:
- Advanced english level for communication with clients
- Strong experience in production AWS with the ability to recommend and implement appropriate services to be used for various product requirement scenarios
- Strong experience with Terraform
- Experience with GitHub Actions
- Fluent use of Git workflows in a collaborative setting
- Solid knowledge and experience of the Linux platform
- Expert ability to troubleshoot subtle system issues in distributed network environments
- Understanding of enterprise best practices for security, reliability, performance, cost efficiency, and operational excellence
- Good understanding of the entire software development lifecycle
- Experience with the following technologies is helpful: Jenkins scripted pipelines, Octopus Deploy, AWS CDK, and Terraform Cloud/Spacelift
- Experience utilizing agile principles and development methodologies to help determine the scope and prioritization of competing needs, taking into account technical debt
Skills and Attributes:
- A code-first approach to infrastructure development, deployment automation, andobservability instrumentation
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Seek out what is difficult, do it more often, and automate it
