We are looking for an experienced .NET Core Engineer to help develop products and services for CI&T clients, primarily on top of the .NET framework running on AWS and/or Azure. Together with your team, you will also liaise with technical stakeholders (software architects, developers, and operations teams) helping to ensure alignment between CI&T and client teams, aiming for the continuous & successful execution of the project backlog.

Key Responsibilities

    • Write clean, scalable RESTful Services on top of .NET Core (C#).
    • Handle diverse situations and changing priorities while maintaining a positive attitude.
    • Work as part of a cross-functional team on code reviews, internal infrastructure, and process enhancement.
    • Communicates clearly and efficiently to team members and clients, being able to present ideas in a variety of ways depending upon audience and context.
    • Interact with CI&T teams in Australia (primarily), China, Japan and other global offices as needed, using English as the primary language.

Key Requirements

    • 3+ years developing web applications.
    • 3+ years experience working with SQL Server or other relational databases.
    • 3-5 years using C# (w/ unit tests) in a professional capacity, and knowledge of design patterns such as  MVVM, MVC, etc.
    • Knowledge of cloud technologies, particularly AWS and/or Azure.Familiarity with TDD and CI/CD practices and tools such as Azure Devops, Jenkins, Buildkite or similar.
    • Familiarity with architecture styles and API-driven development (RESTful, RPC — Amazon API Gateway). 
    • Understanding of Agile methodologies, experience with Agile development.
    • Strong attention to detail; excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
    • Flexibility to work remote and collaborate with remote software engineering teams. CI&T offices will also always be available for you, and you may be required to work on-site.

Highly Desirable

    • Experience with NoSQL databases, AWS DynamoDB etc.
    • Experience with modern front-end technologies, .Net Razor etc.
    • Experience with FaaS (AWS Lambda/SAM) and Serverless Architecture.
    • Experience with monitoring/telemetry tools such as CloudWatch, SolarWinds, NewRelic, etc.
    • Experience with automated testing tools such as Jest, Cypress, Gauge, etc.
    • Professional certifications on AWS or Azure stack.
This role would suit an experienced .Net Engineer interested in working with cutting edge technology within the FinTech industry, who has future ambitions to grow into a tech lead or solution architecture role working across multiple industry types.
