Hello everyone!
This is Laura from the Talent Attraction team at CI&T :) We are seeking a committed Senior Data Engineer to join our team at a leading multinational in the technology sector. This professional must have proven proficiency and experience in the following areas:
Responsibilities:
Incident Management:
- Resolve Level 3 incidents by proactively diagnosing problems.
- Roll back changes if necessary to restore operations.
Runbook Creation:
- Assist teams in creating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and runbooks.
- Promote a "Shift Left" mindset by helping establish standards for effective runbook documentation.
Corrective Maintenance:
- Perform corrective maintenance to ensure the optimal functioning of data systems when necessary.
Monitoring and Observability:
- Improve existing monitoring and observability practices to enhance the reliability and performance of the data ecosystem.
Participation in Postmortems:
- Participate in and help facilitate postmortem processes to analyze incidents.
- Engage in root cause analysis and collaborate on creating action plans for future prevention.
Requirements:
- Advanced English level for communication with stakeholders and clients
- Python/Pyspark
- Databricks + Azure
- SQL + Delta Table/Unity Catalog
- Unit Testing + Git + SCM/CI (Software Configuration Management/Continuous Integration)
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex systems.
- Familiarity with creating and implementing standard operating procedures and runbooks.
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools and practices.
- Knowledge of data architecture and best practices in data pipeline design is preferred.
Nice to have
- Flexibility and adaptability to work in dynamic environments.
- Experience in agile and rapidly evolving contexts.
- Incident management experience.
