I am a Talent Attracting Analyst looking for people located in Brazil for a Threat Intelligence Analyst to join our cybersecurity team and help proactively identify, assess, and communicate cyber threats that may impact our organization and our customers. This role requires a strong analytical mindset, the ability to correlate data from multiple sources, and a solid understanding of adversary tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs).
Responsibilities:
- Monitor open-source intelligence (OSINT), dark web, threat feeds, and commercial intelligence sources to identify potential threats and emerging risks.
- Produce tactical, operational, and strategic threat intelligence reports tailored to different stakeholders (e.g., Security Operations, GRC, Executive Leadership).
- Maintain threat actor profiles, track ongoing campaigns, and contribute to threat hunting initiatives.
- Collaborate with Senior Management teams, SOC, DFIR, Red Team, and Product Security teams to contextualize threats and support defensive measures.
- Correlate threat intelligence with internal telemetry to support incident response, detection engineering, and vulnerability management efforts.
- To increase efficiency, reduce manual workload, and enable scalability of our Threat Intelligence capabilities, the selected analyst will be expected to propose and leverage automation and AI-driven solutions. (implementation will be handled by another team).
- Maintain knowledge of current and evolving threats (e.g., APTs, ransomware groups, exploit trends).
- Contribute to improving threat intelligence processes and tooling.
Requirements for this challenge:
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
- 2+ years of experience in Cyber Threat Intelligence.
- Familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK framework and threat actor TTPs.
- Experience with threat intel platforms (TIPs).
- Strong communication and reporting skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to synthesize and present technical threat data for non-technical audiences.
Nice to Have
- Experience with dark web monitoring or incident attribution.
- Experience in the healthcare sector.
- Scripting skills (Python, PowerShell) for automation of intelligence tasks.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., GCTI, CTIA, CEH, Security+).
