At CI&T, we're growing fast and seeking a talented and motivated Senior Databricks Data
Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in ETL (Extract, Transform,
Load) processes, Databricks, and other relevant data engineering tools and technologies. They
will design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and infrastructure to support data processing,
storage, and analysis.
Responsibilities
● Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL pipelines to extract, transform, and load
data from various sources into data storage solutions such as data warehouses or data
lakes.
● Utilize Databricks for data processing, including Delta Live Tables, PySpark, and
Databricks Workflows, to build reliable and maintainable pipelines.
● Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, data analysts, and
business stakeholders, to understand data requirements and deliver solutions that meet
business needs.
● Implement data quality checks and data validation processes to ensure the accuracy
and reliability of data.
● Optimize data delivery and automate manual processes to improve efficiency and
scalability.
● Develop and maintain documentation for data pipelines, processes, and infrastructure.
Qualifications
● Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
●Experience in data engineering or a related field.
● Advanced proficiency in ETL processes and data pipeline development.
● Extensive experience with Databricks, including using Delta Live Tables, PySpark, and
Databricks Workflows.
● Strong understanding of data quality checks and data validation processes.
● Optimize data processing workflows for speed, efficiency, reliability, and
cost-effectiveness.
● Implement data quality checks and validation procedures to ensure data accuracy and
integrity.
● Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Skills
● Experience with other data engineering tools and technologies like Apache Kafka, AWS,
Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
● Knowledge of data modeling techniques and best practices.
● Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems like Git.
● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
● Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
