At CI&T, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mid-Level React Developer to join our team in Colombia. You will contribute to an innovative project in a collaborative, multicultural environment that thrives on Collaboration, Innovation & Transformation.
Position Overview:
As a Mid-Level React Developer, you will play a crucial role in building and maintaining high-quality web applications, focusing on frontend development using React hooks and Next.js. While your primary focus will be on frontend development, a fullstack mindset will be highly valued as the role may require backend collaboration. Working closely with cross-functional teams, including Business Analysts (BA) and Product Owners (PO), you will ensure clarity in requirements and deliver scalable solutions that meet client needs.
Key responsibilities
- Develop user-friendly interfaces using React hooks and Next.js to create seamless user experiences.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and team members to refine project requirements and technical solutions.
- Proactively communicate with clients during agile ceremonies such as stand-ups, plannings, and retrospectives.
- Address uncertainties by actively seeking clarification from BAs and POs, ensuring all requirements are well-understood.
- Maintain application performance and scalability while contributing to backend tasks when needed (e.g., Go Lang, PostgreSQL).
- Uphold CI&T’s commitment to quality and innovation by delivering reliable solutions that transform client challenges into opportunities.
Must-have skills
- Proficiency in React hooks and Next.js.
- Fullstack development mindset with a focus on frontend.
- Proactive communication skills in English, especially during client interactions and agile ceremonies.
Nice-to-have skills
- Familiarity with Go Lang and PostgreSQL (experience with any SQL database is sufficient).
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a multicultural environment.
