Job Overview
We are seeking a Senior Data Developer with experience in database management, specifically with PostgreSQL and related technologies. The ideal candidate will have the skills to handle various database tasks while adhering to our design guidelines and collaborating effectively with our team. The client is American and the CI&T team is multicultural, so fluency in English is essential.
Required Experience:
PostgreSQL and PostGIS
PL/pgSQL and PL/v8
Database DevOps
PgCron
Triggers and trigger functions
Experience with testing frameworks
Fluente English skills
Additional Skills (Preferred):
Skills in audit logging, change log implementation, diffing functions, and security
Familiarity with database management tools such as Liquibase or Sqitch
Knowledge of Python and Azure
Geospatial expertise
Responsibilities:
Build tables and verify data structures.
Write tests to ensure data integrity and functionality.
Follow established design guidelines for implementing new features or testing existing ones.
Work with complex triggers, functions, policies, and session management within our architecture.
