At CI&T, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Software Developer to join our team in Brazil. You will contribute to an innovative project in a collaborative, innovating, transforming, and multicultural environment.
Position Overview:
As a Senior Software Developer, you will play a pivotal role in implementing migration strategies that modernize our clients' applications using .NET technologies and the MERN stack. Your deep technical expertise will be crucial in translating and optimizing code, ensuring high performance and security standards are met. You will collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope and objectives, guiding mid-level and junior developers through mentorship and code reviews to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement migration strategies, translating and optimizing code from .NET to MERN.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project requirements and deliverables.
- Oversee migration plan implementation, maintaining high performance and security standards.
- Mentor mid-level and junior developers, providing guidance on best practices.
- Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Stay informed with industry trends and best practices in application migration.
- Leverage Gen AI for efficient code translation between platforms.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
- Extensive professional experience in application development using .NET technologies and/or the MERN stack.
- Proven experience in application migration projects with cloud services familiarity.
- Advanced knowledge of microservices architecture and containerization.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities.
Nice-to-have Skills
- Experience with agile methodologies and project management tools.
- Knowledge of security best practices in application development.
