As a Data Architect, your goal is to improve how reliable our data systems are and to help make everyone's work go more smoothly. You will be the guide for the newer team members, teaching them to grow in their roles. You will work with different teams to make sure our data setup works well for everyone, explaining complicated data concepts in simple terms. You must be skilled in using our technology tools and programming languages. You should also be good at guiding the team through updates and changes. In short, you're the key person who will take our data capabilities to the next level and keep our team learning and thinking in new ways.
Requirements for this challenge:
- Proficient in SQL and Python (or PySpark) for data manipulation, ingestion, clean up and analysis.
- Experience with Databricks environment, and Portal Azure - DevOps and Azure Data Factory (ADF).
- Strong understanding of data architecture, data quality principles and data governance practices, including logging, cataloging and lineage tracking.
- Expertise in implementing CI/CD pipelines for ETL processes.
- Proficiency in English, both written and verbal, for clear communication of complex data concepts to diverse audiences - High Intermediate
Nice to have:
- Experience with Databricks Unity Catalog
- Experience in data products and its integration with satellite systems.
- Experience with predictive modeling; expertise in sales-related predictive models is a plus.
- Experience in team data leadership
