At CI&T, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Quality Analyst to join our team in Colombia. You will contribute to an innovative project in a collaborative, innovating, transforming and multicultural environment.
Position Overview:
As a Senior Quality Analyst, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and integrity of our software products through both automated and manual testing approaches. You'll define and validate test scenarios, manage quality risks, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain high standards of excellence in our deliverables.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute functional and exploratory tests to ensure comprehensive coverage
- Implement and maintain API and front-end test automation frameworks using tools like Selenium and Appium
- Analyze technical and functional requirements to create detailed test scenarios and test plans
- Perform thorough API testing using tools such as Postman, Rest Assured, and Swagger
- Document test scenarios with clarity and ensure traceability throughout the testing lifecycle
- Identify, report, and track defects through resolution in an agile environment
- Collaborate with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders to ensure quality standards are met
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and best practices
- Experience with Python, Selenium, and Appium
- Proficiency in API testing tools (Postman, Rest Assured, Swagger)
- Experience working in agile development environments
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong documentation abilities for creating clear test scenarios and plans
- Ability to effectively communicate testing results and quality metrics
- Collaborative mindset with good interpersonal skills
