At CI&T, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Fullstack Developer to join our team in Colombia. You will contribute to an innovative project in a collaborative, innovating, transforming, and multicultural environment.
Position Overview:
As a Senior Fullstack Developer, you will play a crucial role in modernizing a large system by developing new features for a cutting-edge rail management platform for an American train company. Working closely with a dynamic team and stakeholders, you'll ensure the delivery of high-quality, scalable software solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Developing and implementing effective and scalable backend solutions, including designing, coding, testing, and maintaining existing systems.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project requirements and technical solutions.
- Design and implement well-designed and functional interfaces, guided by business analysts.
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to a culture of learning.
- Engage in continuous learning opportunities within a highly collaborative team.
Must-have skills
- Extensive experience with Java + Spring Boot or Quarkus
- Strong understanding of design patterns, unit testing, and object-oriented programming
- Experience with database design (SQL and JPA)
- Experience with microservices architecture and REST APIs
- Experience with Kakfa or other messaging tools
- Strong communication skills; English proficiency in listening and speaking is important.
Nice-to-have skills
- Experience with Angular.
- Experience with AWS.
- Experience with DevOps practices.
