We are looking for a Senior Architect with strong Data experience to be part of our team working for EMEA clients. In this position, you will lead technically and design software solutions, working closely with teams in the EU, Brazil and other countries in Latin America. 

We are looking for someone who has:

Solid experience designing, developing and deploying pipelines, data-lakes, data meshes and other data products;
Solid experience on understanding, questioning, prioritizing and translating business problems into data solutions (BI, Analytics, deterministic and statistical models, machine learning);
Solid experience with AWS Data Platform (Glue, S3);
Experience with CI/CD pipelines;
Ability to share your knowledge with more junior team members.

The main responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Develop and maintain conceptual data models (Financial Services related);
Evaluate and select appropriate modeling methodologies (e.g. Star Schema vs. Data Vault);
Collaborate with stakeholders to frame analytical questions and translate them into metrics;
Identify and catalog the Data Universe: source systems, data domains, and key entities;
Design canonical schemas and logical models with consistent naming conventions, data types, and partitioning strategies;
Architect and recommend a Lakehouse solution (e.g. Delta Lake, Apache Iceberg, Hudi);
Leverage and extend existing Data Lake assets to build out the Data Universe;
Implement dimensional modeling patterns (star schemas or Data Vault) with defined grain, keys, and SCD handling;
Specify and oversee ETL/ELT pipelines to populate and refresh models, ensuring data quality, lineage, and observability;
Establish governance standards for data stewardship, access controls, and metadata management;
Optimize schemas and storage layouts for query performance, scalability, and cost efficiency;
Maintain up-to-date documentation, including data dictionaries, ER diagrams, and architecture diagrams;

We expect candidates to have knowledge in some, but not necessarily all fields below:

Knowledge of non-functional requirements (performance, security, privacy, GDPR and etc);
Knowledge of Design Patterns, Clean Architecture and Clean coding;
Knowledge of unit, integration and E2E testing.
