At CI&T, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated System Architect to join our team in Brazil. You will contribute to an innovative project in a collaborative, transforming, and multicultural environment.
Position Overview
As a System Architect, you will lead the design and implementation of cutting-edge ecommerce solutions utilizing composable architectures. Leveraging your expertise in Java, Spring Framework, and Azure Integration Services, you will create scalable and API-first platforms that support headless commerce strategies. Your role will be pivotal in driving innovation and efficiency across our ecommerce architectures.
Key responsibilities
- Design and architect modern, modular ecommerce solutions: Leverage MACH principles (Microservices, API-first, Cloud-native, Headless) focusing on Java and Spring technologies.
- Integrate with Azure services: Utilize Azure Integration Services (Logic Apps, API Management, Event Hub) for seamless data flow and event-driven architectures.
- Develop microservices-based architectures: Manage and evolve scalable systems using Java and Spring Boot.
- Implement Composable Commerce solutions: Use platforms like CommerceTools for API-first, headless commerce support.
- Create microfrontend-based solutions: Deploy modern JavaScript frameworks, especially Next.js, for modular user experiences.
- Deploy and manage containerized applications: Use Azure Kubernetes Service for high availability and efficient scalability.
- Ensure event-driven architectures: Design systems using Azure Event Hub for real-time data processing.
- Collaborate and mentor: Work alongside cross-functional teams to align technical and business objectives, and mentor teams on best practices.
- Security and compliance: Implement best practices ensuring architecture supports high-performance, scalable, secure ecommerce platforms.
Must-have Skills
- Extensive experience with Java, Spring Boot, and Spring Framework
- Proficient in Azure Integration Services and event-driven architecture
- Expertise in Composable Commerce platforms and API-first solutions
- Proven experience with microservices architecture
- Strong understanding of MACH principles
- Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks, especially Next.js
- Hands-on with Azure Kubernetes Service
- Expertise in API management and event-driven architecture
- In-depth knowledge of security protocols and compliance
Nice-to-Have skills
- Experience with headless CMS systems
- Familiarity with container orchestration tools like Helm
- Experience with data streaming solutions
- Knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field; Master’s preferred
- Proven expertise in software architecture focused on ecommerce and cloud-native solutions
- Proficiency with CommerceTools, Next.js, and Azure Cloud services
- Azure and/or Java certifications are a plus
- Familiarity with DevSecOps practices, CI/CD pipelines
