[Job-14817] Cloud Backend Tech Lead with GCP

We are looking for a hands on Cloud Backend Software Tech Leader (it means a Master Developer or Software Architect) to contribute and integrate advanced features for Application Load Balancers using Service Extensions. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in creating, documenting, and integrating new features that leverage Application Load Balancers' ability to perform custom processing through extension backend services.
Development work can take place on open source projects or internal to the customer. This role requires a deep understanding of Google Cloud Platform, as the integration involves sophisticated use of GCP Load Balancers. Additionally, familiarity with GCP's AI capabilities is essential to develop innovative demos and use cases. The engineer will also play a key role in supporting team members and ensuring the successful adoption of these integrations.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide leadership and support to team members on a daily basis development, being the main point of contact with the client on technical subjects.
Develop use cases and demos that showcase the integration of Service Extensions with GCP's AI features.
Design and implement new features using Service Extensions for Application Load Balancers.
Document the design and usage of new features to facilitate understanding and adoption.
Background, skills and experience:
Solid background in Java and Python development;
Good experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services or similar Cloud Platforms;
Being able to communicate in english (CEFR B2);
Backlog management;
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with minimal guidance.
Ability to test, investigate, analyze, solve and communicate problems;
Propose and discuss solutions, and incorporate received feedback;
Enjoy to quickly learn (and use) different technologies from those you already know.
Additional experiences:
Have development experience with other languages, for example Go;
Hold GCP certifications;
Being able to communicate in english (CEFR C1+).
