Responsibilities:
- Deliver end-to-end software solutions — design, implementation, testing, and documentation.
- Build and optimize high-performance APIs and backend services using Node.js and AWS.
- Collaborate with DevOps to integrate code into CI/CD pipelines and ensure quality standards.
- Participate in architectural and technology decisions, contributing to technical best practices.
- Work with Product and Solution Management to translate business needs into technical requirements.
- Investigate and resolve issues in production environments.
- Maintain clear, consistent technical documentation.
- Monitor and communicate project progress to stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Advanced skills with Node.js (JavaScript, TypeScript)
- ORM & SQL
- Proven experience contributing to architecture and technical decision-making (able to debate and understand rationale behind choices)
- Hands-on knowledge developing AWS cloud-based or equivalent SaaS applications — especially with services like Lambda, API Gateway, ECS, S3, DynamoDB
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with Agile methodologies
- Unit testing / automated testing experience
- English proficiency (technical and conversational level)
Good to have:
- Experience with React, Vue, Vuex, or Redux (front-end frameworks)
- Experience developing Infrastructure as Code using AWS CDK (or similar tools like Terraform, Pulumi)
- Experience with other cloud platforms (GCP, Azure)
