We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented FP&A professional to join our finance team in Japan. This role will play a critical part in supporting strategic decision-making by delivering high-quality financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis. YOUR DAY-TO-DAY WORK
As FP&A Analyst – Japan, you will lead financial planning and analysis for our business operations in Japan, working closely with both local and global stakeholders. This role is responsible for forecasting, budgeting, performance tracking, and financial reporting, with a strong focus on business partnering and delivering actionable insights.You will report to the Director of Accounting & Finance Operations, Japan and collaborate with the Poland-based Director of FP&A, regional leadership, and the global finance team to support ongoing growth, optimize performance, and ensure alignment with global financial strategy.

Potential responsibilities will include:
●  Lead the forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning process for Japan operations
●  Develop and maintain financial models to support scenario planning, business cases, and regional initiatives
●  Partner with the local and global accounting teams to ensure accurate monthly reporting and variance analysis
●  Provide detailed financial and operational insights to regional leadership and global finance
●  Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) for space rental, advisory, and events businesses
●  Contribute to global FP&A reporting standards, ensuring consistency and transparency across regions
●  Support regional decision-making through ad-hoc analysis and business partnership 

YOU HAVE
●  At least 5 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or business analysis roles
●  Strong financial modeling, forecasting, and variance analysis capabilities
●  Experience working in or supporting Japan-based operations of a global company
●  Familiarity with subscription-based, real estate, or service-oriented business models is a plus
●  Proficiency in Excel and working knowledge of financial systems and FP&A tools (NetSuite and NSPB experience preferred)
●  Working knowledge of currency conversion to $US and the impact on local business
●  Strong communication skills and ability to work across cultures and time zones
●  Fluency in English and Japanese required
