The Human Resources Analyst, with a focus on benefits, plays a pivotal role in managing and optimizing our employee benefits programs. This role involves ensuring that employees receive accurate and timely benefits, as well as assisting in the operations and administration of benefit plans. The Human Resources Analyst is a critical part of our efforts to maintain a high level of employee satisfaction and engagement.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Benefits Administration:
    • Manage benefits email box, ensuring timely responses to employee questions.
    • First point of contact for new hires, ensuring they are familiar with benefits available.
    • Coordinate daily benefits processing.  Process enrollments, QLEs, terminations and COBRA, rollovers and distributions, compliance testing and any other benefits administrative process.
    • Ensure company intranet is up to date with current benefits information and programs.

    • Wellness Program:
    • Contribute to the annual wellness program design.
    • Maintain wellness platform; inclusive of programing challenges and communicating wellness challenges.

    • Leave of Absence Administration
    • Interface with LOA vendor, ensuring employees receive accurate and timely support.
    • Provide payroll with supplemental pay amounts each pay period for employees on leave.

    • Compliance:
    • Ensure eligibility and termination rules are adhered to per plan documents.
    • Ensure timely compliance with applicable government regulations including accuracy of required reporting and fees.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    • Participates in special projects on an ad hoc basis
    • Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

    • 3 to 5 years of HR experience with focus in payroll or benefits a plus

ABOUT YOU:

    • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
    • Familiarity with benefit plan administration and payroll procedures.
    • Knowledge of HR policies, labor laws, and regulations a plus.
    • HR certification (e.g., PHR, SPHR) is advantageous.

    • Actual base salary considers several factors, including but not limited to geography, job-related knowledge, experience, and budget. The start of the salary range is typically associated with the minimum experience required. At CIM, base pay is one part of the total compensation package. This role is eligible for bonus pay in addition to base salary. The anticipated base salary range for the position in Los Angeles, CA, is $65,000-85,000
